The incredible Valais descents offer skiers unadulterated and endless fun. The descents are up to 17 kilometres long – non-stop, without ever having to use a ski lift. Some physical fitness is essential. And especially the love of skiing. And off you go down the perfect pistes, from the high peaks down into the valley. With fantastic carving conditions, challenging slopes and headlong schusses. The only reason for skiers to stop are the many picturesque ski huts situated along the pistes.
Matterhorn glacier paradise - village, 17 km
17 kilometres of pistes on guaranteed snow: black-diamond sections, glaciers and breathtaking heights. At 3,883,m, the descent is initially gradual, which is comforting in the thin air. After the first large bend, a difficult steep section follows. Please use caution! Then: easy carving as far as Trockener Steg. Time for a rest at Europe's highest pizzeria before continuing on to Furgg. Use caution once more: this black-diamond slope becomes steep and narrow. After 4 km, a reward at a delightful mountain bistro offering Valais specialities.
