Cross-country skiing in the village of Leukerbad, 12 km and in the Gemmi-Region, 18 km
In the natural setting of the Gemmi region the adventure begins with an exciting ride on the funicular to over 2,000m. At the Gemmi station take the aerial tram down to the Daubensee, where skiers can choose an eight-kilometre or ten-kilometre powder-covered trail. The Gemmi region is ideal for all Nordic ski enthusiasts in search of untouched terrain. The Swiss snow school in Leukerbad offers group and private lessons for beginners and advanced skiers every day. Current cross-country trail maps are available at the Leukerbad tourist office.
