The black Galen piste that leads from the summit station of the Plattjen gondola down to Saas-Fee is aimed above all at experienced skiers. Framed by 18 summits higher than 4,000 m, the run offers a fast and exciting descent to the valley floor with glorious views of the Mischabel massif. With a total length of 2.3 km for a vertical drop of 770 m, the Galen piste was once used to stage World Cup races; today it offers a thrilling challenge to all who love steep and speedy runs.
