Find the road bike, e-bike, fatbike or mountain bike to suit you at one of the many sports shops in Valais.
Mountain bike shops
To rent or buy a road or mountain bike, you can go to any of the more than 70 bike shops throughout Valais. The shops can be found on the plains as well as up in the resorts and their specialists are waiting to give you advice on the mountain bike, road bike, e-bike or even the fat bike of your dreams, as well as all the necessary equipment for you to take full advantage of your adventures on the road or on more rugged terrain.
It’s a simple concept: pay a deposit of CHF 20.00 and the bike is yours. The first four hours are free; each additional hour costs CHF 5.00. E-bikes and mountain bikes require payment from the first hour. For an additional fee of CHF 5.00, bikes can be returned to stations other than where they were rented. Reservations also cost CHF 5.00. From early June to late October a Valaisroule bike can be rented at 14 locations. Valaisroule offers many adventurous options for adults, children, families and sports enthusiasts!

The Association Tandem 91 lends more than 80 special bicycles in the Upper Valais region for free. All the members of the Association work as voluntary, and the acquisition of new bicycles is made possible through the support of various sponsors. These special bicycles allowed disabled and elderly people to join a lot of excursions. With a Rollfiets, for example, the grandparents can take part in a families bicycle tour.
PubliBike – Switzerland's new bike sharing offer!
Arriving by public transportation and then exploring the city centre by bicycle or e-bike - this is the vision that PubliBike has been putting into action in Switzerland. In a first step, starting in the summer of 2011, railway stations in Switzerland have been equipped with bicycles and e-bikes. With this service, the project partners, PostBus, Swiss Railways and Rent a Bike, intend to promote urban sustainable mobility.
