Portes du Soleil Tour

From the peaks of the Cornettes de Bise or the Tour de Don, you will have an amazing view of the blue waters of Lake Geneva and opposite you, Montreux and Lausanne. Further away, in the distance, you will see the silhouette of the Jungfrau and the Eiger as well as the Matterhorn pyramid. Turn around slightly, and before you tower the majestic, powerful and famous Dents du Midi while, nearby, on the right, Mont-Blanc stands out. You follow a path from Portes du Soleil, through mountain pastures, crossing the border, one minute in France (Haute-Savoie), the next minute in Switzerland (Valais). This hike is in two countries but only one province, Chablais.
