St. Jodern Kellerei

Founded in 1979, the St. Jodern winery is a cooperative with more than 500 members who produce nearly 300,000 litres of wine a year: about 400,000 bottles. The grapes are grown in the region around Visperterminen, nicknamed the “Heida village” (Heidadorf) after the star grape variety, the Heida. The area is home to some of Europe’s highest vineyards, in which work on the vines is done entirely by hand. Try some of the different local specialities including their Resi AOC Valais (made with grapes of the Rèze variety), which is certified Valais brand.
