Les Fils Maye

Founded in 1889, Les Fils Maye is one of the oldest wine businesses in Valais. At the time, Léonide Maye took advantage of the arrival of the railway in Valais to set up his operation near Riddes station, which provided plentiful opportunities for selling his wines. The winery’s wine bar, “Le VerreMaye”, also located in Riddes, offers a chance to taste the company’s five ranges of wine, which showcase typical local grape varieties such as Amigne, Heida, Johannisberg, Syrah and Cornalin.
