High above Crans-Montana on Colombire alpine pasture, you’ll hear the lapping of the Bisse du Tsittoret and the steady ringing of cow bells. In an unspoilt natural setting, a guide will show you around the ecomuseum while the cheesemakers busy themselves producing and maturing tomme and raclette cheese in the summer months. Woodcarving workshops and introductions to traditional cooking and tomme cheesemaking provide another way to enjoy the pure mountain air. For a zen getaway, enjoy a unique stay in a “mayen” mountain hut.
