Dominated by the majestic summits of the Pierre Avoi and the Catogne, the Col-des-Planches alpine pasture in the district of Entremont specialises in dairy production. Cheeses such as raclette and tomme are produced here in the traditional manner using a wood fire. Many different herbs from the surrounding area lend their flavour to the produce and give it a unique and delicious character.
