Zermatt Unplugged
Founded in 2007 as a singer and songwriter festival, Zermatt Unplugged has increasingly developed into a meeting point for fans of unadulterated sounds. Over 130 concerts take place on 17 stages throughout the village and on the mountain during the five days of the festival. It brings together acoustic music, a striking alpine landscape, beautiful spring snow, Zermatt hospitality and an unparalleled atmosphere on the Matterhorn to create a unique experience.
Musicians and bands such as Passenger, Alanis Morissette, OneRepublic, Ms. Lauryn Hill, James Blunt, Stephan Eicher, Jason Mraz and many more have been inspired by the Unplugged idea, and have performed on the Marquee and Club stages of the festival. Zermatt Unplugged is the only festival of its kind in Europe.
