The Zeneggen commune has a population of about 250 spread out over a promontory encircled by high mountains high above the Visp Valley – far away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The traditional hamlets with names like Zen Stadeln, Schallmatte, Egga, Widum, Sisetsch, Trolera, Wiecherried and Gstein offer relaxation and warm hospitality, contemplative strolls and extended hikes through forests and vineyards, pristine nature with a diverse fauna and flora, cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Far away from mass tourism.
