Over 450 years ago Unterbäch received the Papal blessing to build its own church. In 1957 women in Unterbäch went to the ballot boxes for the first time in Switzerland. Unterbäch has always been courageous and progressive – and its beautiful location on a sunny plateau provides a world of its own: a summer and winter paradise.
