Steg-Hohtenn also has a lot to offer tourists. The village extends over an altitude of 600 to 2200 meters above sea level and offers a Mediterranean climate. There is an indoor swimming pool, a pump track, football pitches and tennis courts as well as two ski areas (Lauchernalp and Jeizinen), which can be reached in a few minutes by car. In addition to the picturesque vineyard terraces, you can also visit the oldest white wine vine in Switzerland. Hohtenn is the starting point for one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Switzerland, namely along the Lötschberg south ramp to Brig/Naters. The new adventure trail and the adjoining hiking areas of the Lötschental and Bietschtal valleys round off the tourist offer.
