A winter paradise for skiing, somewhere between heaven and earth. The majestic four-thousanders form a magnificent setting dedicated to winter sports. If you like winter, you’ll love Valais! The possibilities are boundless and snow is guaranteed. No great surprise when you realise that Valais is the region in Switzerland that, thanks to the altitude of its ski areas, promises the best snow conditions on its 2400 kilometres of slopes.
Ski resort Vercorin
The slopes of Vercorin offer 35 km of waymarked pistes (220 km if you opt for the Val d’Anniviers pass that includes the neighbouring resorts of Grimentz-Zinal and St-Luc/Chandolin) and a snow park (1 big air, 1 hip, 2 slides and 1 box). The Creux de Lavioz ski kindergarten is the ideal place to learn to ski or to try out a new snow sport. The garden is equipped with two small ski lifts ideal for beginners, a natural ice skating rink and a snowtubing piste. You can also use part of the ski piste for tobogganing or bobsleigh. Le Lavioz also has a snack bar and a crèche.
