The authentic mountain and alpine landscape of the Moosalp region is home to two cross-country areas. In the “Eggwald/Hellela” area, for example, a 10-kilometre trail leads through varied stretches of forest and open countryside. This trail can be accessed from Alt-Zeneggen; it is prepared for classic cross-country and for skating. The second cross-country paradise, “Moosalp”, at some 2000 metres, scores points for its guaranteed snow. The 5-kilometre trail features impressive views of the Mischabel and Weisshorn groups. The trail can be reached in the “Alpuschnaager” caterpillar vehicle from Bürchen or by ski lift, and is likewise prepared for both classic cross-country and skating.
