The Val d’Anniviers has a hang-gliding site offering a wide variety of flights throughout the year. Whether purely for pleasure or with sport in mind. Less experienced pilots will benefit from the 1800 m drop from the Crêt-du-Midi (2336 m), which gives one of the longest unpowered flights in the Alps. Seasoned pilots will love the strong thermals of the Val d’Anniviers and the Val d’Hérens that often give lift up to an altitude in excess of 4000 m.
