Twingi Gorge
Binn Goms Switzerland
In the past, the route through the Twingi Gorge was extremely dangerous in winter. Until the tunnel was built between Ausserbinn and Binn (1965), the remote valley was often cut off from the outside world for weeks at a time in winter. Now the old footpath provides a spectacular scenic route for cyclists and walkers. With its tunnels and ancient walls supporting the sides and marking the edge, it is an impressive monument to earlier times. Twingi Gorge
