Vallée du Trient Tour

All along this route, there is a succession of stunning landscapes: the mountains of Trient, Mont-Blanc and Dents du Midi, the Triège gorges, Trient, Dailley, the Salanfe, Emosson and Vieux-Emosson dams and several nature reserves. In 1976, following the melt of an old névé, over 800 dinosaur prints, of nine different species, were discovered at Vieux-Emosson. This tour could also be called the Pass Tour since, starting from the La Forclaz pass, there is a whole succession of passes: Balme, Posettes, Terrasse, Barberine and finally, Emaney.
