The vineyard path between Sierre and Salgesch

The vineyard path is a life line of 6km marked out all year round, an exceptional walking location in the heart of the vineyards in the land of sunshine, between Sierre and Salgesch.
The itinirary (2h30 hike) follows lanes with very little traffic, runs along the winemaking quarters and crosses the incredible nature reserve of the Raspille gorges. 80 educational signposts are placed along the way. They draw attention to the surrounding countryside, the diversity of the vines, the techics and the history of the vineyards. You can also discover the traditional and present uses of the vineyard, typical quarters and historical artifacts.

There are incredible panoramic views: the wonderful scenery of the Val d'Anniviers, l'Illhorn with its hillsides covered with forests, the Pfyn-Finges nature reserve, the hamlet of Muraz , the villages of Veyras, Venthône and Miège, the borough of Loèche in perspective with the Haut-Valais, the wildside of the River Rhone, the Raspille gorges, before finding Salgesch and its vineyards and wine museum.
