Binn
Twingi Gorge
In the past, you often took your life in your hands going through the Twingi in winter. Until the tunnel was built between Ausserbinn and Binn (1965), the remote valley was often cut off from the outside world for weeks at a time in winter.
Chamoson
The potholing centre
Situated in Grugnay, not far from the largest cave in Valais (Poteux grotto in Saillon) and the caverns of the Sanetsch Pass, this centre throws an educational light on the underground caverns an their mysteries.
Gondo
The Gondo Gorge & military fortress
The hike to the Gondo Gorge begins at Gabi/Gstei on the Simplon Road. The Stockalperweg, an ancient muleteer track, is also found here.
Les Marécottes/Salvan
Dailley Gorge
There is a hiking trail that begins in the village of Salvan, passing through larch forests and entering the Dailley Gorge near Van d'en Bas.
Leukerbad
Dala Gorges - The Thermal Sources
Less than one kilometer from the Village Square a thermal source footbridge crosses the Dala Gorges at Leukerbad. The footbridge is almost 600 meters long and evolves a minimum of four meters above the riverbed.
